Philippe Kuperman
Philippe J. Kuperman

Philippe's experience in the areas of general management, operations, and sales and marketing was acquired in more than 30 years of multinational assignments in the telecommunications, Internet, and software industries. He specializes in the development of new business opportunities, establishing organizations in new areas, and integrating and optimizing resources in technology and rapid growth markets.

He has co-founded proAXIS LLC to provide a single point of contact for emerging and developing software companies to quickly launch in the Ibero American region (Latin America, Caribbean, Spain and Portugal)
In 2002 Philippe became a partner at MAPA Group, a business-development consulting organization and has assisted US software companies to identify partners and customers in Latin America, Spain and Japan.

From 1999 through 2002, he was the President of PSINet Latin America and Senior Vice President of PSINet, Inc., one of the major independent Internet services and Hosting companies of the late 90's. In this capacity, he led the acquisition of 23 independent ISPs in 6 key countries in the region and consolidated the resulting businesses into an integrated operation with a streamlined management organization with a single corporate image; including a new IP network, and 3 hosting centers.

In 1998, he became Vice President of Americas and Asia for Lernout & Hauspie, a leading speech recognition and translation software company; after this company acquired Globalink, Inc., a pioneer software translation company he joined in 1996 as Vice President International.

In 1989, Philippe joined Software AG as Vice President Sales for the Americas, Asia Pacific, Israel and South Africa. In 1991 he became General Manager and Vice President International Operations for Software AG. In 1994 he was named Senior Vice President of Indirect Sales Worldwide reporting to the Board.

Prior to this, Philippe founded Pegasus International, an independent consulting practice dedicated to the development of international channels of distribution for technology products, and served as President of Sterling Software Japan. Previously (1977-1984) he was Vice President International for Informatics, Inc., one of the leading independent system software companies for mainframes, which was acquired by Sterling Software.

Philippe, of French descent, was born in Buenos Aires, where he also studied. He holds a degree MBA from the National University of Buenos Aires, Argentina and speaks Spanish, English, French, Portuguese, and has knowledge of German and Italian.

Albert E. Acuña

Alberto is an accomplished, results-driven professional with over 30 years of sales, integration, and executive experience. He developed his expertise in product development, territory management, corporate integration, information technology and networking of international distributors and agents while working for large multinational software and technology companies.

He has co-founded proAXIS LLC to provide a single point of contact for emerging and developing software companies to quickly launch in the Ibero American region (Latin America, Caribbean, Spain and Portugal)

In 2006 he founded Albert Acuna and Associates to provide assistance to US software companies to launch their businesses in Latin America and Spain through distribution channels, direct sales and partnerships.
From 2001 through 2006 Alberto was the General Director for Ibero America at SYMARK International where he was responsible for the business development of the International Division with focus in the Ibero American region.

From 1998 through 2001, he was Director of Integration and later Director of Sales and Marketing for PSINet Latin America with responsibilities of overseeing the integration of the 22 independent companies acquired during his tenure.

Prior to this Alberto he was Founder and President of PCS, Inc., for the sale and distribution of PCs and Networking solutions in South Florida. He also was VP and General Manager for the USA of T & G Productive Solutions, a Spanish software company specializing in application software for IBM mini-computers.

From 1978 through 1985 was a key member of the Latin American Region at Informatics General Corp., where he started as a Direct Sales Executive and later became Director for Latin American Operations, developed a complete and very successful network of agents and distributors for the region.

Alberto is of Cuban descent and has studied in Cuba, where obtained a BA in Business Administration from the University of Havana, and Puerto Rico, at the Inter-American University graduating with an MBA. He is fully bilingual in English and Spanish, and has working knowledge of Portuguese and Italian.
